LUMO celebrates five years in business

Auckland based digital out-of-home company LUMO Digital Outdoor has celebrated its 5th birthday after a triumphant year which saw the company double its screen inventory across New Zealand and achieve record growth.

In addition, LUMO entered into new partnerships paving the way into new out-of-home territory. These include a new deal with marketing insights company Tracksuit to provide clients with brand health and awareness metrics following campaigns.

In addition, LUMO’s partnered with industry-first DOOH measurement software, LENS, and with Seedooh to provide an industry-first report on audience measurement and accountability across the New Zealand market.

LUMO has long been a pioneer in digital out-of-home since launching in 2016 as the first Kiwi-owned company in this space. Over the past five years, the business has launched a number of “firsts” including LUMO Labs, a design and production hub for innovative digital out-of-home content and the LUMO Pixel Awards, which recognises the crème de la crème of OOH campaigns across New Zealand.

Chief Executive Officer and Co Founder Phil Clemas comments, "It sounds like a cliché but we never dreamed that LUMO would become as large and dynamic as it has to date. And yet, there is much more we wish to do.

“In 2016 Kent and I set out on a mission - to launch an out-of-home business that would cut through all the noise. The market has really embraced our solution and as a result LUMO’s grown exponentially over the past five years.  The next five are set to be even bigger. There’s so many exciting possibilities in the digital out-of-home space but to get there, we first need to collaborate with the industry to educate and inspire creativity and greater trust in the channel. There’s so many exciting projects in the works we can’t wait to share, watch this space!”
